WalkAssist is designed to recognize traffic-related objects such as crosswalk signals, crosswalks, and traffic signals and provide alerts via voice notifications. To optimize its performance, it is recommended to use it with a harness. Please note that the voice alerts will only function if your device's ringer is enabled. It is essential to understand that WalkAssist should complement rather than substitute your orientation and mobility skills, as well as your current mobility aid. Its purpose is to serve as an additional tool to enhance your orientation and navigation abilities.
